Rocco, Seven First Team Selections Highlight CAA Awards

CAA Football on Tuesday afternoon announced its 2015 award winners as voted on by the league's coaches and the University of Richmond football team had 13 individuals honored, headlined by head coach Danny Rocco receiving Coach of the Year honors to go along with seven First Team selections.

As announced on the FCS Selection Show on Sunday morning, the Spiders have received a bye through the first round of the 2015 NCAA FCS Playoffs. With yesterday's win over William & Mary, Richmond has retained the Capital Cup, been crowned 2015 CAA Champions, and now will return to Robins Stadium on Dec. 5th at 12 p.m. (NOTE time changed from originally-scheduled time of 1 p.m.) for a second round game versus the winner of William & Mary and Duquesne.
