ROBINS CENTER POLICIES
ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act)
The Robins Center offers ADA compliant seating in the following sections: Section 3, Section 9, Section 14 and Section 20. ADA parking is available in Lot B4 which is located between Robins Stadium and Millhiser Gymnasium, accessible from Boatwright Drive.
AED (Automatic External Defibulator)
There are two AED units located on the upper concourse of the Robins Center. One is located on the North Concourse behind Section 1 and the second is located on the South Concourse behind Section 12. A third AED unit is located in the main lobby, lower West entrance, accessible from the arena through the doors behind Press Row, under Section 17.
Fans must enter the Robins Center at the North, East or West Entrance located on the concourse level. Guests are encouraged to have their tickets available throughout the game to assist in seat verification and entry into each aisle or section.
Guests are advised to arrive in the Robins Center well in advance of the start of the game. Please be courteous to guests by moving about the arena when there is a break in the action (i.e. time outs, halftime).
Animals are not permitted in the Robins Center, unless they are service animals assisting a disabled guest.
Artificial noisemakers (air horns, cowbells, etc.) are not permitted in the Robins Center. Be considerate and allow your neighbor to enjoy the game.
There is an ATM (automated teller machine) inside the Robins Center, located on the main concourse behind Section 21. Additionally, major credit cards and Spidercards are accepted at concession stands and the UR Spider Shop. An ATM is also located inside Tyler Haynes Commons on the first floor at the middle staircase.
Baby Changing Stations
All women's and men's restrooms are equipped with Baby Changing Stations. Men’s & Women's restrooms are located on the concourse behind Sections 3, 9, 14 & 20. There is also a Men’s and Women’s restroom located on the Club level.
Bags & Backpacks
Backpacks, duffel bags, and other large bags are not allowed in the Robins Center. If you arrive with such an item, you will be requested to return the item to your vehicle.
Banners, Signs & Flags
Banners and signs may not be displayed during play of games or performances due to sightline restrictions. Signs may not be placed on railings or walls. Poles or sticks that are used to display banners, flags or signs are not permitted. Additionally, banners and signs that are offensive, vulgar, or commercial in nature will not be permitted into the Robins Center.
Still cameras with lenses less than six inches are allowed, however flash photography and stands/tripods are not permitted. Videos cameras are not allowed in the Robins Center.
Children 3 and under are admitted free if seated in an adult's lap. If they need their own seat, a ticket must be purchased. Children's tickets (16 and under) can be purchased for $5.
There are eight concession stands on the concourse level, four on the East Concourse and four on the West Concourse. All permanent concessions stands accept cash, Visa and Master Card while the southernmost concession stands on each Concourse will also accept a valid Spidercard. Auxiliary, portable concession stands will be cash only.
The visiting team's players, personnel and fans, as well as game officials, are guests of the University of Richmond. Harassment of the visiting team, its fans and game officials will not be tolerated and may result in ejection from the Robins Center.
The Game Operations Staff will proactively intervene to support an environment where guests can enjoy the game free from unacceptable behavior, including the following:
- No unruly or disruptive behavior
- No obscene or indecent clothing allowed
- No obscene gestures
- No foul or abusive language
- Intoxicated guests, or guests showing signs of impairment related to alcohol, will be removed from venue
- Interfering with another fan's ability to enjoy the game is prohibited
- No standing or sitting in the aisles
- No throwing of objects
Our Game Operations Staff reserves the right to determine what is unruly or unacceptable behavior; therefore, warranting removal from the venue. If anyone is interfering with your enjoyment of our facility, please contact the nearest member of the Game Operations Staff for assistance. Guests in violation of policies are subject to removal from the event, arrest and prosecution under the applicable laws and statutes, and could forfeit the right to ticket privileges. Students who violate are subject to university disciplinary procedures and/or loss of ticket privileges for future athletic events.
Guests holding tickets to men's basketball games at the Robins Center can enter through the following entrances:
- North Entrance
- West Entrance (upper level)
- East Entrance (upper level)
Guests holding tickets to women's basketball games at the Robins Center can enter through the North Entrance or the Lower West Entrance. UR students holding tickets to all basketball games can enter through the upper level of the South entrance. Media enter the Robins Center through the Lower South Entrance.
If medical assistance is required, please notify the nearest Game Operations Staff Person or Law Enforcement. An ambulance crew is stationed at the floor level behind the basket at the North entrance between Sections 1 & 22 .
Food & Beverage
Food and drinks are prohibited from being brought inside the Robins Center.
Group tickets are available at a discount for groups of 15 or more with group leaders having the chance to receive a special gift. Group tickets are subject to availability. For group sales to both Mens and Womens Basketball, please call: 804-287-6314 or 1-877-SPIDER-1.
The Robins Center is committed to providing proactive immediate response to issues affecting guests. Should a concern arise during an event, please see an events staff person to have your concern addressed or make a nearby staff member aware of the concern.
Guest Services Kiosk
The Guest Services Kiosk is located on the North Concourse behind Section 21.
The distribution of promotional items, handbills, flyers, pamphlets, printed materials, as well as the solicitation of signatures is not permitted on the Robins Center property without the express written consent of the University of Richmond.

Lost and Found
All lost and found items are to be turned into the Guest Services Kiosk located at the North Entrance concourse level (main entrance). Beginning the next day or following a weekend game, lost and found items will be left at the Robins Center Ticket Office. This office can be reached at 804-289-8388 or 1-877-SPIDER-1.
Please report any lost persons to the nearest Game Operations Staff or Law Enforcement Officer in your area.
Media wishing to cover a basketball game at the University of Richmond must contact either Mark Kwolek (Men's Basketball) or Kelly Shuman (Women's Basketball) in advance to request credentials. Press Row is only accessible to working media and other essential game personnel. The Media Entrance is located at the Lower South Entrance. Proper media credentials are required and bags are subject to search. Media Will Call can also be found at the Media Entrance and proper photo identification is required to claim credentials. Media parking is limited and a parking pass must be displayed for access to the Media Lot. The University of Richmond reserves the right to revoke media credentials for misuse and/or misrepresentation.
Guests can purchase Spider Merchandise in the Robins Center at the Spider Shop located on the North Concourse, behind Section 2.

The following items are not permitted into the Robins Center:
- Alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs
- Backpacks or large bags (media personnel may bring in these bags, and they are subject to search)
- Baby strollers
- Glass bottles or aluminum cans
- Coolers or containers
- Fireworks, firearms, or other weapons
- Artificial noisemakers are not permitted, including - bullhorns, cowbells, horns, whistles, drums, and megaphones
- Outside food and beverage
- Skateboards or rollerblades
- Video Cameras
- Water bottles or mugs
- Items that can be thrown such as balls, frisbees and other inflatables
Game Operations Staff and/or Law Enforcement Officers reserve the final decision on all items that are brought into the Robins Center.
Messages for the public address announcer are acceptable only for emergencies and must be approved by the Department of Athletics.
The flagship radio station for Richmond Spiders men's basketball games is ESPN 950 AM, also available at ESPN950am.com and RichmondSpiders.com. Night games and selected other broadcasts are also available on WOLF 93.1FM. Selected broadcasts may also be heard on Sirius Satellite Radio. The weekly radio coach's show, The Spider Sportsline, airs live Mondays 5:30-6:30 p.m. at Flinn's Restaurant, 403 N Ridge Rd, 23229 and can be heard live on ESPN 950 AM, ESPN950am.com and RichmondSpiders.com. University Facilities will have recycle bins placed throughout the Robins Center to collect plastic drink containers. Individual recycling bins will be clearly marked, as will all general trash bins.
Re-entry to the Robins Center is strictly prohibited. Guests are not allowed to leave the Robins Center at any time and return, including halftime. Re-entry is permitted should the Robins Center be evacuated due to an emergency.
Tickets cannot be resold at the Robins Center. The University of Richmond is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets. There are no refunds on tickets.
The Robins Center has multiple restrooms located throughout the arena. All restrooms are accessible for physically disabled guests. For the closest restroom, please see a guest services representative
Messages displayed on the scoreboard are acceptable only for emergencies and must be approved by the Department of Athletics.
The Robins Center is a smoke free facility.

Robins Center guests will be serviced by three ticket window locations on Gamedays, which each open 1 1/2 hours prior to tip-off. Please refer to the list below for locations and services offered at each window:
- Robins Center Ticket Office (West Entrance lower level, main lobby): Gameday Sales and all ticket reprints
- Ticket Window 1 (North Entrance): Gameday Sales
- Ticket Window 2 (North Entrance): Gameday Sales
- Pass List Table: (North Entrance): Player / Coach guest and Richmond prospect tickets
- Pre-Paid Will Call: North Entrance
UR students can enjoy the URVA Pre-Game before all home games starting an hour before tip-off. The URVA Pre-Game is located on the Robins Center East Patio. A valid UR student ID and game ticket are required for entry. Guests with tickets to the game can by-pass this closed section of the concourse by entering through seating areas, or using the North, East and West sides of the concourse.
Videos cameras are not permitted in the Robins Center.
Tickets reserved and placed at Will Call can be claimed at the North Entrance beginning 1 1/2 hours prior to tip-off. A government-issued photo ID must be presented to claim all tickets and credentials. Tickets and credentials will only be given to the individual listed in Will Call with a matching and valid ID.
