Getting to Know Jessie...

Why did you choose UR?
I chose UR because I felt I could get the most out of my education at a small school where I would be able to participate in class discussions and interact with my professors. In terms of swimming, I felt confident the program would help me become the best swimmer I can be during my four years of collegiate swimming.

What do you consider your greatest accomplishment at UR thus far?
Contributing to our win at the 2011 A-10 Championship and accomplishing personal best times in the process

Do you have any pre-meet rituals?
Painting my toenails. They've gotta look snazzy on the starting block.

What is your dream job? Writing my own column for a newspaper

Who are your biggest role models? My parents

If you could spend the day with anyone (dead or alive), who would it be?
It's a tie between Tina Fey and Dog the Bounty Hunter.

If you could have any superpower it would be... the ability to teleport across campus.

If you were stranded on a deserted island, what one person and one thing would you like to have with you?
I'd like to have Billy the Exterminator with me so he could fight off any harmful bugs or animals we came in contact with. The one thing I'd like to have is a Kindle so I would always have a book to read.

If your teammates could describe you in three words they would be... tiny, silly and hard worker.
