Molly Sutherland

Molly joined the University of Richmond sports medicine staff in August 2009.  She is primarily responsible for overseeing medical care of the football team.  She also previously assisted with the women’s lacrosse and field hockey teams while at Richmond.

Molly received her Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine from the University of Virginia in 2007.  She went on to earn a Master of Science in Athletic Training degree from the University of North Carolina Greensboro in 2009.  During her two years as an athletic training student at UNCG, Molly worked with the Wake Forest University football team, Guilford College football and men’s lacrosse, as well as serving as the student rehabilitation coordinator for UNCG.  While at UVA, she assisted with the football, soccer, tennis, and track and field teams.

Molly is certified with the National Athletic Trainers’ Association.  A native of Madison Heights, VA, Molly now resides in Richmond, VA.
