Lauren Pierce is joining the University of Richmond sports medicine staff as an assistant athletic training intern.  She will be responsible for women’s lacrosse in the fall and the men’s and women’s track and field in the spring. Lauren is from Chesapeake, VA and graduated from James Madison University in 2011.  After this year, she plans to return to school to pursue a career in physical therapy and continue athletic training.
