UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - The University of Richmond Spiders football team will begin spring practice this Thursday. The team, under first-year head coach Danny Rocco, will have 14 practices leading up to the annual Spider Spring game on April 14 at 1 p.m. at Robins Stadium.
All 14 Spider football practices will be open to the public and will take place at the Grass Practice Fields on River Road on the campus of the University of Richmond. Fans that attend the practices must stay within the designated spectator area at the field. Each of the 14 practices will be two hours long. Scrimmages will be held during the practices scheduled for March 29, March 31, and April 5. Fans are reminded that dates and times are subject to change due to weather.

Spider Spring Game
The 2012 Spider Spring game is scheduled for Saturday, April 14 at 1 p.m. at Robins Stadium. Admission is free. Seating is general admission on the West Side only. More details on the spring game, including parking information and format of the game, will be released later.
