PHILADELPHIA, Pa. --Richmond dominated St. Joe's, 14-7, en route to its first A-10 win of the season Sunday in Philadelphia.
The Spiders dominated from the first whistle, scoring the game's first eight goals to take a commanding 8-0 lead with 8:38 left in the first half. The Hawks would only muster one goal in the first frame, as Richmond took a commanding 9-1 advantage to the break.
Saint Joseph's tried to rally, getting within an 11-6 deficit, after scoring three straight goals, but Richmond's early lead proved too much as the Spiders scored three more goals to end the game.
