UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. – What’s better than candy and football? Answer: Nothing.

That’s exactly what you’ll find at the annual Spring Game for the University of Richmond football team, which is slated for Saturday, April 15th at 1 p.m. at Robins Stadium.

In addition to getting your first peek at the Spiders under new Head Coach Russ Huesman, fans will find a fun-filled day on campus for the entire family to enjoy.

Prior to the game, there will be an Easter Egg Hunt on Millhiser Green, where kids can get their picture taken with the Easter Bunny.

The Spring Game will also kickoff the official launch of the 2017-18 Spiderlings Kids Club presented by Buffalo Wild Wings. It’ll be the first chance to register kids for next year, with benefits that include free admission to select football and basketball games, access to exclusive events, a free t-shirt and much more!

Lessing Plaza will be jam-packed with the Family Fun Zone, which will include inflatables and plenty of activities for all ages to enjoy.

Fans will also be given the opportunity to scout possible season ticket locations for the 2017 season. Appointments can be made with the ticket office to look at exact locations and discuss details by calling 1-877-Spider-1 for more information.

Lastly, the Spider Athletic Department will be hosting their annual Equipment Sale, which includes the sale of game worn jerseys, cleats, pants and other memorabilia.
