UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND - The University of Richmond has announced home football game times for the 2011 season, highlighted by the first-ever night games in Robins Stadium history. Richmond's six-game home schedule includes a pair of 6 p.m. kickoffs.
The Spiders' home opener versus Wagner on Sept. 10 and the 87th all-time meeting between Richmond and VMI the following week will mark the first two games under the lights at Robins Stadium, which opened on campus last season.
Following the two night games, Richmond is home for the third-consecutive week (Sept. 24) to host New Hampshire in the Spiders' CAA Football opener on Family Weekend at 3:30 p.m.
Homecoming Weekend is slated for Oct. 22 versus Maine at 3:30 p.m., while Massachusetts comes to town the following week at 1 p.m.
Richmond's regular-season finale, and the annual battle for the Capital Cup versus William & Mary is slated for a 12 p.m. kickoff on Nov. 19.
Game times could change due to television obligations.
