Wann Named Soccer America Preseason All-American

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. -- Becca Wann was one of 25 players to be named to the Soccer America preseason All-American list. Nine nominees, including Wann are in Japan representing the US Women's National Team at the U-20 World Cup.

Wann was recently named to the prestigious MAC Hermann Watch Trophy List, an award given to the nation's top female and male soccer players. Wann led the Spiders with 15 goals last season, finishing 13^th in the country. Wann was tabbed the A-10 Offensive Player of the Year as well as a NSCAA Division I First-Team All-American.

Wann is chronicling her stay with U-20 National Team through her blog which can be found on the official website. Wann will miss the first seven games of the season.
