Charlottesville, Va.- The Men's Spider tennis team ended their fall season in Charlottesville, Virginia at the ITA Regional on Sunday.
Ethan Dunbar advanced to the round of 16 but fell to cross town rival Max Wennakowski of VCU 6-2, 6-2. Wennakowski was ranked 5th in the singles bracket.
"I think we went out there pretty well this weekend and had some good results," said Ethan Dunbar. "It was a good way to end the fall season."
In double's action Jesse Feder and Paul Nahon fell to Virginia's No. 2 ranked Shane and Uriguen 8-4 in the round of 32. . The duo was gaining momentum in the later half with great strategic placement and strong play at the net but couldn't overcome the deficit.
"Overall I am pleased with the performance of the team," said head coach Ben Johnson. " I thought this fall each guy made improvements."
