Men's Soccer Falls To Dayton

RICHMOND, Va.- Richmond fell to Dayton, 5-0, Friday night at Robins Stadium.

Dayton's Ryan Peterson scored in the 13th minute of play. The Flyers offense would maintain the momentum throughout the game earning four goals from four different players.

Timmy Albright led the Spiders with six shots on the night.  Thomas Hand played a full night between the posts with seven saves.  Dayton's goalie Chris Froschauer had eight saves on the evening.

The Spiders outshot the Flyers 24-20 and took 14 corner kicks to Dayton's two. The Spiders are now 6-10-0 on the season and 2-5-0 in the Atlantic 10. Dayton improved to 9-4-1, 3-2-1.

Richmond will be back in action on Sunday at 11 a.m. against No. 12 Xavier at Robins Stadium.
