Spiders End Fall Season At Palmetto Intercollegiate

KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. - The University of Richmond Spiders women's golf team concluded a very successful fall season on Monday at the Palmetto Intercollegiate, finishing 11th with a 54-hole score of 912 (+48).  No. 35-ranked Campbell won the 17-team tournament with a total of 866 (+2).

Senior Tracy Martin led the way again for the Spiders, tying for ninth overall with a score of 220 (+4).  Martin carded rounds of 72-72-76 on her way to her second top-10 finish this season and the fifth of her career.

Classmate Courtney Rousse was solid for Richmond, tying for 30th with a total of 226 (+10), while fellow senior Caroline Lovette finished in a tie for 61st with a score of 233 (+17).

Junior Lauren Conder tied for 64th with a score of 234 (+18), while classmate Krystin Schwarze placed 88th with a total of 247 (+31).

With the completion of the Palmetto Intercollegiate, the fall portion of the Richmond Spiders women's golf team's schedule is now complete. Be sure to check RichmondSpiders.com for the release of the spring schedule for the Spiders later this winter.
