BRONX, N.Y. -- Richmond fell to Fordham, 47-40, Sunday afternoon at Rose Hill Gym.

The Spiders had their 10-game win-streak against the Rams snapped, as Fordham won its first game over Richmond since 2002.  Richmond moved to 11-8 on the year, 1-2 in A-10 play, while Fordham improved to 13-5, 3-0 overall.

Richmond was plagued by poor shooting all afternoon, hitting 15-of-51 (29.4%) of its shots while being held to a season-low 40 points. The Spiders went a season-low 1-of-12 (8.3%) from three-point range.

Kristina King and Ryann Dannelly were Richmond's bright spots, accounting for 24 of the Spiders' 40 points and shooting a combined 9-of-17 from the field. Both King and Dannelly led Richmond with eight boards apiece. King also added three assists. The Spiders went 9-for-9 from the line.

King was a marvel in the first frame, accounting for half of Richmond's total score with a team-best 10 points and shot 4-for-7 from the field. The Spiders closed the half on a 9-4 run and scored seven-straight before Fordham stopped its drought with two free-throws.

NOTES: Even with the loss, Richmond still owns a 11-2 edge in the series with the Rams...Richmond's last loss at Rose Hill Gym came in 2002...The Spiders fell to 3-5 in away games.
