UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. -- Freshman Emily Doyle was tabbed the A-10 Rookie of the Week as announced by the league office Monday.
Doyle posted a five-point day for Richmond in its 18-17 win Friday over GW with one goal scored and four assists. The four assists was a career-high for Doyle.
The Ho-Ho-Kus, N.J. native has 11 goals and 12 assists on the season. Doyle has scored in eight games this season, with a personal-best hat trick against William & Mary. Doyle also had a five-point game earlier in the season with two goals and three assists against Old Dominion.
Richmond hosts La Salle Friday at 4 p.m. at Robins Stadium in its Friends of Jaclyn game.
