SpiderTV 2011-12 Richmond Spider Highlight Video

While the Spider spring sports are still competing for Atlantic 10 Championships, the 2011-12 Spider Sports Highlight Video was shown at the annual Student-Athlete Celebration on Monday in the Tyler Haynes Commons.

Several annual awards were handed out Monday night.

The Helen Reba Humbert Award, given to a graduating male and female student-athlete based on outstanding athletic, leadership and scholarly attributes. Went to baseball's Bryan Conway and field hockey's Katelin Peterson.

The Donnie Lindsey First-Year Spirit Award went to football's Austin Gund, men's soccer's Timmy Albright, swimming & diving's Allison Titley and track & field's Taylor Clevinger.

The Spider Club Student-Athletes of the Year were women's lacrosse's Mary Flowers, track & field's Nicol Traynor, women's basketball's Abby Oliver and football's Tre Gray.
