UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. -- Richmond will host the 2012 Atlantic 10 Lacrosse Championships to be played at Robins Stadium, Apr. 27 and Apr. 29.
Two semifinal games will be played Friday, Apr. 27 at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. The championship game is set to be played Sunday, Apr. 29 at 1 p.m. nationally televised on CBS Sports Network.
The top four teams in the A-10 standings will advance to the 2012 Atlantic 10 Tournament, to be hosted by Richmond for the first-time ever at Robins Stadium.
Admission will be $6.00 for adults, $4.00 for youth and A-10 students will be admitted for free. An adult two-day pass will be $10.00 and fans can purchase tickets at the Ticket Window 2 located on the north side of the Robins Center. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Robins Center Main Ticket office or on game day one hour prior to the start of the game.
No complimentary tickets will be given and tickets for teams must be purchased by participating schools.
Fans will use the West Grandstand of Robins Stadium, entering at Gates B or C for easy access. The concession stand on the West Concourse, located inside Gate B, will also be open serving food and beverages.
Parking is available in Lot B3 located across the street from the stadium along Boatwright Drive, free of charge.
The winner of the A-10 Championship Tournament will host the winner of the MAAC conference in an NCAA Play-In game the following weekend . Should Richmond win, the play-in game is set for Sat., May 5 at 6:00 p.m. at Robins Stadium.
