PITTSBURGH, Pa. -- Richmond fell at Duquesne, 12-7, Sunday afternoon in Pittsburgh, Pa.

The Spiders had their five-game win streak snapped as they fell to 9-7, 5-2 overall. Richmond secured the No. 3 seed in next week's A-10 Tournament to be held at Robins Stadium. UMass clinched the No. 1 seed, Duquesne the No. 2 spot and GW will be the No. 4 seed.

Richmond held a 5-3 advantage going into halftime, after rattling five in a row to start the game, after the Dukes had scored the game's first goal. The Dukes came out firing on all cylinders in the last frame, outscoring Richmond 9-2, buoyed by a eight-consecutive goal run in the second half. Duquesne scored 10 total goals unanswered, including two consecutive scores to end the first frame.

Sam Stevenson led Richmond with a hat trick, while four other Spiders scored a goal. Stevenson ended her day with five points, adding two assists. Victoria Roebuck had nine saves.

The seven goals scored was Richmond's lowest goal total since a 17-6 loss against No. 5 North Carolina Feb. 19.

The third-seeded Spiders will face No. 2 Duquesne at 1 p.m. in the semifinal game of the 2012 Atlantic 10 Lacrosse Championship Tournament at Robins Stadium.
