UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - Richmond Men's Tennis was well represented on this year's Atlantic 10 All-Conference team announced by the league office on Thursday, as redshirt freshman Ethan Dunbar was named to the all-conference first team and juniors Sebastien Fauchet and Jesse Feder were selected to the second team. The Spider trio and their fellow all-conference honorees were chosen in a vote by the league's 12 head coaches.

"With three players receiving all conference honors, this is proof the program not only had a good year but is moving in the right direction," said head coach Ben Johnson. "Ethan had a great year playing at the top of the line up and the conference coaches recognized his positive play with a first team all conference selection. As for Sebastien and Jesse, their contributions to the program cannot be overstated. This is their third year in a row that both have been selected to the all conference team."

Dunbar was honored to the first team after stringing together an 11-9 record at No. 1 singles this spring, including a victory over William and Mary's Anton Andersson and a pair of conference wins in the Spiders' matches against St. Bonaventure and Saint Joseph's. As part of Dunbar's 10-8 doubles record, the Medina, Ohio, product won 10-straight doubles pro-sets in the second half of the season at the No. 3 position with newcomer Paul Nahon.

After not competing this past fall, three-time all-conference honoree Fauchet put together an 8-8 singles record playing mainly at No. 2 this spring. The Rochester, N.Y., native was key to the Spiders' doubles play this season, playing at No. 1 doubles with several different partners. Fauchet capped off the season by coming together with classmate Feder to blank Duquesne's Aram Abgaryan and Mehdi Mekaoui, 8-0, and help the Spiders advance to the conference semifinals against Xavier.

Feder earned his third-consecutive A-10 second-team honor after bouncing back from an injury this fall to compile a 12-5 singles record in spring play. The Plantation, Fla., product highlighted his season by grinding out a three-set victory over Duquesne's Rich Robbie at No. 3 singles to lead the Spiders past the Dukes in the conference tournament quarterfinals. Feder also finished the season with a 7-8 mark in doubles play.

Richmond wrapped up its season with a 12-10 overall record, including a 3-2 mark in Atlantic 10 action. The Spiders were the sixth seed at this year's A-10 Championship, where they advanced to the semifinals before falling to second-seeded Xavier.
