The new-look 16-team Atlantic 10 announced the home and away pairings for the 16-game 2012-13 regular-season schedule.

Each team will play one opponent twice in a home-and-home series with the Spiders facing city-rival VCU once downtown and once in the West End.

Along with playing VCU at home, Richmond will play Charlotte, Duquesne, George Washington, Rhode Island, defending Atlantic 10 champion St. Bonaventure and 2012 Sweet 16 participant Xavier.

In addition to a second-straight season playing at VCU's Siegel Center, the Spiders play at Butler, Dayton, Fordham, La Salle, Massachusetts, Saint Joseph's and Temple.

The 2013 Atlantic 10 Championship will be played at the $1-billion Barclay's Center, the new home of the Brooklyn Nets.
