NORMAN, Okla. - After a terrific year on the course and in the classroom, University of Richmond Spiders men's golfers Nick Austin, Daniel Walker and Brad Miller were named to the Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar Team for the 2011-12 season.

The trio's selection marks the sixth-consecutive year that at least one Spider golfer has earned the national distinction.

A total of 146 players in Division I were named to the All-America Scholars team.  To be eligible for the honor, a student-athlete must have competed in at least three full years at the collegiate level, participate in 70-percent of his team's competitive rounds, have a stroke-average under 76.0 and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2.
