UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. -- Richmond head coach Michael Shafer announced the 2012-13 women's basketball non-conference schedule Wednesday afternoon. The Spiders play a challenging slate, including 10 teams that saw postseason play, three of which were NCAA participants.

Richmond hosts six home games, including two ACC schools in Miami (Fla.) and Virginia Tech. In addition to those matchups, Richmond hosts Longwood, North Carolina A&T and NCAA participants Florida Gulf Coast and Navy. The Nov. 9 game against Longwood and Nov. 28 tilt against North Carolina A&T will be doubleheaders with the men's team.

Richmond also participates in the Cancun Challenge Nov. 22-24. The Spiders will play WBI champion Minnesota, NCAA participant Wisconsin-Green Bay and WNIT participant Wichita State.
