UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - The Richmond Spiders home-opening football game against Gardner-Webb at Robins Stadium is officially sold out, the Richmond athletic department announced on Thursday.
The sell out for Richmond is the 10th for the Spiders since moving into the state-of-the-art Robins Stadium prior to the 2010 season. Last year, Richmond sold out all five of its home contests.
The Spiders will host the Gardner-Webb Runnin' Bulldogs on Saturday at Robins Stadium with kickoff scheduled for 6 p.m. The game will mark the first-ever meeting between the two squads.
