UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. -- Houston Oldham was named the A-10 Player of the Week as announced by the league office Monday.

Oldham, a senior midfielder, scored three times in two games last week, leading the Spiders to a perfect 2-0 record at Robins Stadium and improving UR's record to 3-5-0 on the season. The Nashville, Tenn., native opened the week with a pair of goals against visiting Longwood, before racking up his third score of the week in the opening minutes against the Keydets, as he drilled a shot from the right side into the net.

Oldham currently leads Richmond with seven points this fall, including a team-best three goals and one assist. After the 2-0 week at Robins Stadium, the Spiders improved to 3-5-0.

The Spiders play at Liberty tomorrow night at 7 p.m.
