Men's Tennis Opens With Strong Singles Play at WFU Tourney

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.-  The men's tennis team opened up the Wake Forest Invitational with strong performances on Friday in Winston- Salem.

Six of  the eight men's tennis players won their opening singles matches this weekend at the Wake Forest Invitational.

Jesse Feder, Paul Nahon, Will Welte, Aaron Wicker, Dylan Trent, and Justin Baker all started the weekend 1-0 in singles play.

In doubles action Jesse Feder and Paul Nahon went 2-0  defeating Davidson's Mark/Moore 8-4 in the opening round of  B doubles. The pair went on to defeat UNC- Greensboro's 9-7 in the quarterfinals.

The action continues on Saturday in Winston-Salem

Justin Baker
Opening Round: Justin Baker def. Samuel Lemberger (NSU) 6-3, 6-3
