UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. -- Richmond hosts La Salle Monday night at 7 p.m. at the Robins Center in its non-conference finale. Because of the number of teams in the league this year, Richmond and La Salle do not face each other in the A-10 regular season. The league office agreed the two teams could play in non-conference action.

Scouting La Salle
The Explorers come into Monday's game with a 4-10 mark, but have won three of their last four games. La Salle is led by the Atlantic-10 leading scorer, Brittany Wilson and her 18.3 ppg. Wilson is averaging a team-best 6.5 rpg and is shooting 37 percent from the field (78-of-212). Wilson is followed by Shanel Harrison and Ebonee Jones who both pour in 9.8 ppg. La Salle is averaging 37.6 rpg and 10.3 apg. La Salle is averaging 53.6 ppg, almost eight points a game less than its counterparts. The Explorers are 3-5 in away games this season, and have wins over Lehigh, Central Connecticut State, Fairfield and Saint Peters. La Salle looks for its first win over the Spiders since 2006.

Last Time Out
Richmond erased an 18-point deficit to rally past Navy, 65-59, Friday night at the Rob- ins Center. It was Richmond's largest rally since coming back from a 19-point deficit at Duquesne, Jan. 19, 2011. Richmond improved to 9-6, as it won its second-straight. Rich- mond shot 15-for-33 (45.5%) in the second half, compared to 9-for-30 (30%) from the Midshipmen. Kristina King scored all of her 13 points in the second frame, as the Spiders outrebounded the Midshipmen 23-18. Becca Wann led Richmond with 17 points off the bench and grabbed a career-high eight steals. The 17 points is the third-highest total for Wann this season. Wann also led Richmond with six rebounds. King followed with 13 points, while Rachael Bilney chipped in with 10 points. The Spiders dished 16 assists and grabbed 11 steals. Richmond outscored Navy 34-18 in the paint, and the Spider bench accounted for 32 points.

Richmond leads the overall series, 13-6, and have won seven in a row against the Explorers. Richmond took last year's meeting, 74-70, last Jan. in the Robins Center and are 7-1 against La Salle at home.
