PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The Richmond men's basketball held a nine-point halftime lead over Saint Joseph's, but the Hawks scored the first 15 points of the second half to slip past the Spiders, 61-55.

With the setback, Richmond falls to 14-11 on the season overall and to 4-6 in Atlantic 10 conference play.  The Hawks had lost three-straight to the Spiders at Hagan Arena, but opened up a slim lead in the closing minutes and held on to improve to 14-9 on the year and 5-5 in A-10 action.

Off the bench, sophomore Kendall Anthony scored a team-high 13 points, while junior Cedrick Lindsay added 12.  Wayne Sparrow had a solid, all-around game, totaling nine points, eight rebounds and three steals.

The Spiders return to action on Saturday when the team will host St. Bonaventure at the Robins Center, with tip-off scheduled for 6 p.m.  The contest will be televised in Richmond on WTVR's digital channel 6.3.
