Tennis Picks Up 5-2 Victory Over Norfolk State

NORFOLK , Va.- The men’s tennis team won five of the six singles points in their win over Norfolk State on Sunday.

The squad is now 11-10 in spring action and 3-5 in conference play.

Norfolk State took the singles point but a determined Spider squad put together five impressive singles points.

Playing at the No. 1 position for the first time this season, Jesse Feder won 7-6, 7-5. 

Ethan Dunbar put together a solid day of play at the No. 2 position with a 6-4, 6-2 win.  Paul Nahon followed suit with a 6-4, 6-2 victory in the three slot.

Sebasiten Fauchet dueled Pete Rastromer-Pello to three sets.  Fauchet lost the first set 3-6 but found his stride in the second with a 6-1 victory.  He closed out the third  with a 6-4 win to secure the point for the Spiders.

Dylan Trent topped his opponent 6-4, 7-5 at the No. 5 spot.
