Spider Tennis Earns Three Conference Accolades

NEWPORT NEWS, Va.-  Ethan Dunbar, Jesse Feder, and Paul Nahon earned  A-10 All-Conference honors as announced by the conference office on  Monday.

Dunbar, a redshirt sophomore, was named to the All-Conference first team after amassing a record of 15-9 in spring action and a record of 20-17 overall at the No. 1 singles position.  He picked up major wins over William and Mary, Charlotte, George Mason, and Navy.  The accolade is Dunbar’s second consecutive first team nod.

Feder earned All-Conference second team honors after recording a Spider high 17 wins  in the spring season at the No. 2  singles position. Feder won 11 of his last 14 matches in spring play with wins over Dayton, Xavier, St. Louis, George Mason, and Charlotte. He currently leads the Spiders in career wins.  Feder was named to the All-Conference second team every year of his college career. 

Nahon was named to the all-academic team after amassing 17 wins this year.  Nahon is the first Spider men’s tennis team member to an all-academic honors since 2005.
