UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. – The second part of the Robins Center renovation is underway with the removal of seats starting today.
The ceiling tiles were painted dark blue prior to graduation and now the construction phase has begun which will see the 41-year-old arena transform into a state-of-the-art facility for the 2013-14 season.
Every permanent seat in arena will be removed over the next few weeks. The iron seat frames will be refurbished and returned to their original location with brand new seat backs and cushions.
