Tight Losses
Despite having a record of 2-6 on the season, Richmond has still out-scored its opponents on the year, 189-182.  Five of the six losses have all been by seven points or less and overall, all the setbacks have come by just 6.0 points a game.  Of the five losses to FCS teams, four of those teams are currently ranked or have been nationally ranked this season.

Sophomore Brandon Jordi was named CAA Special Teams Player of the Week on November 4 after hitting four field goals in the win over Albany.  On the season, Jordi has hit on 15-of-19 field goals on the season – the most in the CAA.  Jordi also ranks second in the conference in field goal percentage (78.9) and second in the league among kicker in scoring per game (6.7).  Jordi’s 15 field goals rank ties him for fourth on Richmond’s single-season list and tied for ninth on the school’s career field goal list.

Fisher’s Posts Career Day Against Albany
Seeing his most extensive work at running back in his career against Albany, Seth Fisher responded with his best day as a Spider.  Fisher ran for a career-high 89 yards on 18 carries and a touchdown in the Homecoming win over the Great Danes.

Spiders Boast Impressive Pass Offense
Through nine games this season, Richmond boasts the most prolific passing attack in the CAA.  The Spiders lead the league in pass yards per game (311.4), completions (265) and attempts (411).  In the CAA, Richmond has completed more passes than four other teams (W&M, Stony Brook, Villanova and New Hampshire) have attempted.  Nationally, the Spiders ranks 12th in passing offense.
