WILMINGTON, N.C. – The Richmond men’s tennis team concluded its fall schedule Sunday at the Seahawk Invitational.

Friday Action: The Dunbar brothers secured an impressive 8-0 victory over the Tulane duo, Jao Chi-Shan and Alex Van Cott in doubles action.

Stathi Kyriakides was the lone Richmond victory in singles action. Kyriakides posted a 6-4, 7-5 victory over the Seahawks’ Matt Kealy.

Saturday Action: Despite falling in doubles, Richmond secured three singles victories. Jacob Dunbar easily defeated Davidson’s Robert Lightbourn, 6-1, 6-0, while Dylan Trent posted a 6-4, 2-6, 6-4 victory over Evan Watkins of the Wildcats. And Kyriakides defeated Alex Howard 6-1, 7-5. 

Sunday Action: The Dunbar duo took an 8-2 victory over Davidson’s Jordan Hart and Ethan Kallick to start the morning off in doubles. Quenard and Trent defeated Howard and J.B. Gough 8-6, while Noah Fenton and Kyriakides took an 8-3 victory over Ted Bolton and Ricky Saad in doubles play.

Jacob Dunbar and Fenton took singles victories for the Spiders. Dunbar defeated Chi-San, 6-3, 6-1, while Fenton took a 5-7, 6-3, 6-3, match from Cedric Rutesaert of Tulane.
