Spiders Fall On The Road At No. 19 Saint Louis

ST. LOUIS – No. 19 ranked Saint Louis came out of the gate strong after a week off and never looked back in snapping Richmond's four-game winning streak 77-57 Wednesday night at Chaifetz Arena.

Jordair Jett scored 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for his second-straight double-double as the Billikens improved to 19-2 overall and a perfect 6-0 in Atlantic 10 play. It was the 13th-straight victory for Saint Louis.

Richmond junior Kendall Anthony led the Spiders with 14 points and senior Cedrick Lindsay had 12 points and five assists.

Senior Derrick Williams posted his ninth career double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Spider freshman ShawnDre' Jones scored eight points.

Richmond (14-7, 4-2 Atlantic 10) plays in the Bank of America Capital City Classic Saturday at 11 a.m. at city-rival VCU on ESPN2.
