Spiders Drop Hard Fought Match At UC Irvine, 4-3

IRVINE, Calif. - The Spiders dropped a hard fought match, 4-3, at UC Irvine Tuesday.

The Spiders team of Ethan Dunbar and Jacob Dunbar wrapped up the doubles point with a 7-5 tiebreaker win at No. 1 singles to overtake Ryan Cheung and Shuhel Shibahara.

The difference in the match came during singles play.  UC Irvine was able to outlast Richmond behind the likes of Ryan Cheung and Jonathan Hammel. 

Richmond is back in action Wednesday in Riverside, Calif., facing off against UC Riverside.
