Men's Tennis Blanks Saint Joseph's, 4-0

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. – The Richmond women’s tennis team blanked the Saint Joseph’s Hawks, 4-0, in a shortened match at the Westwood Tennis Center Saturday afternoon.

Playing just four singles matches, the Spiders dominated taking all four matches. The Dunbar brothers took straight sets at the top two spots. Redshirt-junior Ethan Dunbar took a 6-3, 6-1 match on court one over Jose Sierra, while freshman Jacob Dunbar defeated Pierre Brondeau, 6-0, 6-2 on court two.

Freshman Alex Hahn won on court three, as he rallied back from a 2-6 deficit and closed with 6-3 (10-7) to defeat Dan Barrus. Freshman Canyon Teague rounded out the win with a 0-6, 7-5 (10-7) victory over Tristan Boustany on court four.

The Spiders will be back on the court Wednesay, April 2 when they host East Carolina at 3 p.m.
