UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. -- To honor and thank all active, reserve and veteran military members who have served our great country, the Richmond Spiders are asking fans to participate in their new Seats for Soldiers program.

During this campaign, Seats for Soldiers tickets purchased by Spider fans will be donated to local military men and women to attend the Spiders football game vs. Villanova November 1 free of charge.

The Spiders have formed a partnership with Fort Lee for a portion of the donated tickets to benefit soldiers and their dependents stationed at the base.  Fans interested in donating tickets for the Seats for Soldiers program can click here or call 1-877-Spider-1.

The game against Villanova November 1 at Robins Stadium has also been designated as Military Appreciation Day in honor of all active, reserve and veteran service members.  Service men and women from all branches of the military will be honored at this game.

Additional military and veteran organizations seeking information on partnering with the Spiders to receive complimentary tickets through the Seats for Soldiers program should contact Jennifer Phillips at 804-287-6314 or JPhilli6@richmond.edu.
