The Spiders started strong when senior Natalia Chaney scored her 15th goal of the season on a free-position shot just under five minutes into the half.
Lehigh quickly countered, scoring twice to take a 3-1 lead with 21:31 left in the half, but sophomore Marissa Brown was able to tie the score with a goal assisted by Chaney.
Both teams were scoreless for the next seven minutes, before the Mountain Hawks scored with just over 10 minutes left in the half to take a 3-2 lead.
Richmond responded with a goal from sophomore Aly Fries, assisted by Geiersbach, and another from junior Kim Egizi to take a 4-3 lead with six minutes to play. Lehigh then closed out the half with three-straight goals to go into the half with a 6-4 advantage.
