Rusher Paces Spiders At Kingsmill

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - Sophomore Isabella Rusher finished in a tie for sixth place to lead the Spiders to a fourth-place finish at the Kingsmill Women's Intercollegiate at Kingsmill's River Course.

UR came in fourth place overall and was just three strokes off the lead after a competitive final round. The Spiders shot 903 (+39) as a team.

Rusher shot rounds of 73-75-75=223 (+7) to post her second top-10 finish of the season.

Marie Donnici finished 22nd with a tournament score of 72-75-79=227 (+11), while Annie Collom and Sophie DiPetrillo finished right behind her.

Collom posted an under-par round and shot 79-71-78=228 (+12). DiPetrillo finished at 73-83-73=229 (+13).

Elsa Diaz rounded out Richmond's starters with a tournament of 76-84-78=238 (+22).

The Spiders' penultimate tournament before the Patriot League championships will be at Beallsville, Md., in the Hoya Invitational on April 10-11.
