RICHMOND, Va. - In a terrific season that has already seen two tournament victories and a number of outstanding individual performances, the Spiders had one more task to care of before gearing up for the Atlantic 10 Tournament: beat VCU.

On a beautiful Sunday afternoon at Jefferson Lakeside Country Club, the two golf rivals played a closely-contested match play round with five of the seven matches determined on the final hole.

Scoring leaders Keegan Hoff and Matthew Lowe both won the 18th hole to take their matches and tie the match play at 2-2 with three groupings remaining.

Senior Mark Reilly earned a half-point with tie on 18, and freshman Zack Justice won by going up two after the 17th hole.

Senior Jason Park had the opportunity to clinch for Richmond in a match where he was all square entering 18. He landed short of the green, but two-putted to clinch victory for Richmond, 4.5-2.5.

UR's penultimate tournament comes on April 10-11 at the Koch in Gaston, N.C. The Atlantic 10 Tournament is slated for April 28-30.
