UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. – With less than 48 hours left until the annual Spring Game, the Spiders took off the pads and hit the turf at Robins Stadium one final time for practice before Saturday’s showdown.
Most of Thursday’s practice was focused on drills and techniques, while some situations were practices without any actual contact.
“We’re a focused group right now,” rising senior Kyle Lauletta said. “We love playing with each other and we’re committed as a group to doing whatever it takes to win.”
Lauletta, who is still working his way back from last year’s ACL injury, dropped back and fired off some passes, while Kevin Johnson continued to fill in and look strong in his final spring practice.
Rosters Set: Early today, Coach Huesman and his staff announced the rosters for Saturday’s spring game, which will be a normal game format with 12-minute quarters.
Plenty of activities are scheduled for Saturday, you can find that information here.
