Spider Women's Golf Begins NCAA Regional Play Monday

LUBBOCK, Texas – The University of Richmond women's golf team will begin play in its second-straight trip to the NCAA Regionals on Monday morning when it takes on The Rawls Course alongside 17 other programs hoping to be one of the six advancing come Wednesday evening.

Joining the Patriot League Champions in Lubbock are teams from UCLA, Arizona State, Furman, Kent State, Texas, Oklahoma, BYU, San Diego State, Texas Tech, TCU, UNLV, Oregon, Iowa State, Oregon State, Murray State, Georgetown and Sacred Heart. As the No. 17 seed, Richmond will be paired with No. 16 Georgetown and No. 18 Sacred Heart during the first round on Monday.

Four of the five Spiders competing this weekend, Annie Collom, Elsa Diaz, Sophie DiPetrillo and Isabella Rusher, are experiencing the NCAA Regionals for the second-consecutive season. Junior transfer Marie Donnici will be making her first trip in the national event. All five players will be back for the Spiders next season.

Richmond will be starting off the 10th tee of The Rawls Course on Monday. The Tee Times are as follows:
9:50 – Elsa Diaz
10:00 – Annie Collom
10:10 – Sophie DiPetrillo
10:20 – Marie Donnici
10:30 – Isabella Rusher
