UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. – After helping guide the University of Richmond Spiders to a come-from-behind road win at Stony Brook on Saturday, QB Michael Strauss was named the CAA Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.
In the 39-31 victory, Strauss completed 28-of-39 passes for 360 yards and a school-record-tying five touchdowns. Trailing 28-18 late in the third quarter, Richmond out-scored the Seawolves 21-3 over the last 20 minutes to get the win.

The Key Biscayne, Fla., native leads the CAA in every major passing category and ranks fourth in the nation in completions per game (27.6), seventh in passing yards, ninth in passing yards per game (303.2), 10th in total offense (297.1) and 15th in passing touchdowns.
The Richmond Spiders will play their final road game of the season next Saturday when the team heads north to face CAA-rival Delaware at 1 p.m.
