The Spiders fell to the University of Maryland, 6-1, Friday evening in College Park, Md.

Freshman Paul Nahon III earned the lone win for Richmond, defeating junior Andy Magee in three sets, 5-7, 6-4, and 6-2. 

Richmond returns to action on January 22 at VCU.
