UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - The Richmond women's basketball team hosts Temple in its regular season home finale tonight at the Robins Center at 7 p.m.

A Saint Joseph's jumper with three seconds left sunk the Spiders, 67-66 Sunday afternoon on Senior Day.
Sophomore Abby Oliver poured in a career high 21 points and A-10 leading scorer Brittani Shells scored 19. Oliver has scored in double-figures the past six games and is leading Richmond scoring at 17.0 ppg in this span.
Shells continues to lead the Spiders and the A-10 at 16.5 ppg and 2.7 steals per game. Shells has notched seven 20-point or better games, and one 30-pointer. (Career-high 32 points vs. Morgan State, 12/30/09). Shells is averaging 14.6 ppg and shooting 42 percent from the field in conference action. Shells is currently in seventh place (1,346 points) on Richmond's all-time scoring list. Shells moved into sixth place on the all-time steals list with four against the Rams and is only two grabs shy of tying Ginny Norton for fifth place.
In A-10 games only, Oliver ranks first in three-point percentage, connecting on 38 percent of shots behind the arc. Rachael Bilney is averaging 7.1 ppg in league action and has registered a team-best 14 three-point shots.
Richmond is shooting 39% from the field as a team and leading the conference in steals with 11.2 per game.
The Series:
Richmond is 3-10 all-time vs. the Owls and has dropped four straight to Temple. Richmond is 2-3 at home versus Temple with its last home win coming on Jan. 30, 2003. Shells averages a team-high 11.0 ppg against the Owls.
Up Next:
Richmond plays at GW Friday at noon in a rescheduled game from earlier this season. The Spiders look to complete the home-and-home sweep, after having already defeated the Colonials in January.
