UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - Freshman Jessica Hollis scored the game-tying goal and sophomore Catherine Ostoich sent a shot toward the cage that senior Dani Pycroft deflected in for the game winner as Richmond defeated Longwood 3-2 Sunday at Crenshaw Field.

The Spiders were down 1-0 and 2-1, but came back to take the victory in their final non-conference game of the season.

After Longwood took a 1-0 lead 12:05 into the game, Richmond freshman Chelsea Davies scored her second-career goal on a penalty corner.

With 23:00 remaining Longwood regained the lead on a goal by Lauren Sullivan, but the Spiders tied the match just 1:50 later when sophomore Jessica Hollis. The goal was the second of her career for Hollis, both having come in the last three games.

Then with 5:20 remaining the Spiders scored for the third time on a penalty corner. Ostoich sent a shot toward the cage that Pycroft redirected past the keeper. The goal was the team-leading sixth goal of the season and the 25th of Pycroft's career.

Richmond returns to action on Friday, playing at Satin Louis at 1 p.m.
