RICHMOND, Va. - The Richmond men's soccer team opens the 2010 regular season hosting Longwood on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. at Ukrop Park.
The game can be viewed live on the internet through SpiderTV at RichmondSpiders.com with a new widescreen format.
Richmond head coach Clint Peay enters his second season as head coach at Richmond, looking to build the program back to the to national prominence.
With 10 freshmen on this year's roster, the Spiders will be young once again, but the talent level is there to make a run at an Atlantic 10 Tournament bid.
Wednesday's season opener is the first of two games this week for the Spiders. Richmond hosts Campbell on Saturday at 7 p.m. at Ukrop Park.
