UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - Two Richmond men's soccer players in Houston Oldham and Timmy Albright earned Atlantic 10 postseason honors, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday. Oldham was named to the A-10 Academic All-Conference team, while Albright was selected to the league's All-Rookie squad.
Oldham (Nashville, Tenn./Montgomery Bell Academy) was tabbed Academic All-Conference for the first time this season. After being restricted to the sidelines for the early part of the fall, the junior captain and Business Administration major returned to the pitch to tally 10 points on a team-leading five goals. Oldham scored four of his five goals in four-consecutive matches to end the season and finished the year ranked seventh in the A-10 with 0.38 goals per game.
Albright (Richmond, Va./Collegiate School) turned in a team-best 12 points on five goals and a pair of assists to earn All-Rookie honors. The freshman standout closed out his rookie campaign tied with Oldham for tops on the team with five scores. He also ranked 10th in the league with 0.33 goals per game.
