UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - Richmond men's soccer head coach Clint Peay will join his family and friends in a 5K and half marathon in January as part of a fundraiser for Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy. The Peay family's efforts, which are part of the 2012 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend, will raise funds for research for Duchenne and Becker muscular dystrophies.

"Muscular Dystrophy is a disorder that affects many families, and there is currently no cure or significant treatments to reduce or slow the effects of it," said Peay. "Since my wife began working for Project Muscular Dystrophy, she has opened my eyes to the need to help in any way I can to fund the research for MD. We're excited about the opportunity to bring our family together to get involved in helping fundraise for MD research. Not only is it a great cause, but it's been a great learning experience for myself and our kids."
