Introduction From The Director
Camp Objective: The objective of the University of Richmond Track & Field Camp is to promote, teach, and enhance the fundamentals of all track & field events with attention to specific and technical aspects of training, competition, and development. The University of Richmond track & field camp is dedicated to helping athletes of all levels and ability learn the latest training techniques for their event(s).
Age Group: Boys and Girls that will be attending 7th grade through rising college freshmen are welcome to attend this camp. If you are younger please call with inquiries.
Camp Tuition:
$220 (until April 20)
$250 (April 21-June 15)
$290 (June 16-July 19)
$150 (Half-Day Camper - 9 a.m.-11:30 a.m. only)
*Call for Team Rates (8 or more)
*Free to coaches with five or more athletes from the same team
*Limited to first 100 campers
*$100 non-refundable deposit required for reserving a spot for all accepted campers
*Full refund to campers not accepted to camp

Camp Format: Campers will choose a primary and secondary event to learn the latest training and competition techniques. Coaches, guest speakers and staff will provide the athletes with the knowledge and skills to improve their performance.
Typical Camp Day:
9 a.m. - Arrive/Check-In
9:15 - Warm-up
9:30 - Primary Event
10:30 - Secondary Event
11:30 - Lunch
12:30 p.m. - Guest Speaker
1:30 - Pool
2:30 - Primary Event
3:30 - Secondary Event
4 p.m. - Depart Campus

Staff: Join the University of Richmond track & field staff along with other outstanding college coaches:
Meals (Heilman Dining Center): Each camper will be provided lunch daily. Lunch will be served in the University of Richmond dining hall (D-Hall) from 11:30AM-12:30PM. A wide variety of items will be available including a complete selection of vegetarian entrées.
