Sports: Field Hockey and Women's Lacrosse Meghan joined the sports medicine staff in August 2008. She is primarily responsible for overseeing the medical care for the field hockey team in the fall and women's lacrosse team in the spring. Meghan received her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Northeastern University in 2006. She went on to earn a Master of Arts with concentration in Athletic Training at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. During her time at UNC, Meghan completed a thesis project entitled "The relationship between lower extremity muscle activity and knee flexion angle during a jump-landing task" and served as a teaching assistant in the Department of Exercise and Sport Science. Meghan worked with the Tar Heels as a graduate assistant Athletic Trainer for the women's basketball and women's lacrosse teams. Meghan is a BOC certified Athletic Trainer and has been a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association since 2005. A native of Sandwich, Mass., Meghan now resides in Richmond. |
